Purpose of This Page

The Accessibility Menu page explains the built-in accessibility tools available on the Shawn Cohen D.D.S. website and how patients can use them. It serves as both a resource for users with disabilities and a demonstration of the practice's commitment to digital inclusion under the ADA and NYC Human Rights Law.

This page complements the existing Accessibility Statement by giving users a practical, feature-by-feature guide to the tools available to them.

How to Access the Accessibility Menu

The Accessibility Menu widget is available on every page of the website. Users can open it by:

  • Clicking the accessibility icon (♿) located in the bottom-left corner of the screen
  • Pressing the keyboard shortcut Alt + 1 (Windows) or Option + 1 (Mac)
  • Navigating to the /accessibility-menu page directly from the site footer

The widget is visible on all devices including desktop, tablet, and mobile. Settings are saved in the browser and will persist across pages during your visit.
